What do you need to do?
Submit your application to us in good time. This enables us to check promptly whether the requirements for long-term care insurance benefits are met.
Good to know:
- You do not need a medical certificate.
- Your individual care needs will be determined by the Medical Service of the Health Insurance Fund (MD) as part of an assessment. This ensures that your situation is assessed carefully and fairly.
When do the benefits apply from?
- In principle: from the date of application
- However, at the earliest: from the date on which the eligibility criteria are met
- If the application is submitted later than one month after the need for care arises: Benefits apply from the beginning of the month in which the application is submitted
